Back to School
I had a simple snack this afternoon of about a half of a diced pear and some grapes.

After work, I had to make a detour back to my Judo classroom. I accidentally left my wedding ring on last night when working out and the instructor asked me to take it off. This is for safety reasons, because it could get caught on something and potentially break my finger. Anyway, I am sure you can see where this is going…
So, I had my instructor unlock the door for me and it wasn’t in the spot where I had left it!!!!!!!!
There were no other groups renting out the space and I did not see it anywhere. We walked to the front office and asked if anyone had turned in a ring or if anyone had entered the building since last night. Nothing had been mentioned about a lost ring, however the plumber had to enter the room for some reason. I asked her to call and check with him, and still… no luck. I was starting to worry at that point! We walked back down to the room and took one more look around, returning once again empty handed. Just as we were about to leave, the plumber drove up and had my ring. Apparently the guy on the phone was not the service man who performed the work, but he relayed the message. This guy had found it and had not yet had a chance to turn it in at the front office. I was sooooo thankful and appreciative that he had taken the time to drive there right away to meet me.
Wow, I was really starting to get worried!!!

Sssshh, don’t tell Abby!
After finally leaving the gym (with ring back on finger), I drove to another class… I am in my last semester of getting my Master’s degree and class started tonight. During a quick break, I was able to squeeze in a little dinner:

Again, grabbing some leftovers from the grilling night, I had a piece of corn on-the-cob, and some grilled zucchini and onions. I added to that a 2 oz piece of smoked sausage, a bun, and some avocado with a side of smashed black beans.
The pepper in the middle turned out to be too hot and I couldn’t eat all of it. I like to add a little something spicy to my meals. Aside from the flavor, it tends to make me drink more, which helps to increase satiety.
Aaaaand, I finally got to enjoy one of Abby’s delicious chocolate chip cookies! Unfortunately, it didn’t travel well, but it still tasted great!
Oooh, class is starting again, I’d better get back.
