This is one of my favorite ways to fix broccoli or green beans. It’s a simple way to add a lot of flavor to your veggies.

Broccoli Stir Fry

  • one head broccoli
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil or sesame oil
  • 1 green onion, optional
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce or teriyaki

Cut the broccoli so that you keep some of the stems on, but not the thick base. Heat the oil in a skillet or wok and toss in broccoli pieces. If you have varying sizes of broccoli, add the larger pieces first, as they will take the longest to cook. Stir/toss regularly, and after 2 minutes, add the smaller pieces, green onion, and garlic. The broccoli will change color to a darker green when cooked. As most of it is beginning to change color, add the soy/teriyaki sauce and cook for another minute.

I really like this blog. Great outlook!
I love roasting broccoli. I imagine it can be somewhat similar taste to stir fry, depending on the sauces.
