Boy Meets Food, now meets Facebook

I think I was pretty much the next-to-last person in the U.S. to sign up for Facebook. I have tried to hold out for years now. I was aware of the black hole of time the famous social networking site is claimed to produce, and was not interested in watching the few spare minutes of time that I have slip away. Well, just before Thanksgiving I got together with a group of friends, and heard comments and references about someone not drinking, and other “conspicuous hints”. Well, sure enough… one of my friends is pregnant, and I was literally the last of our friends to know. They made the announcement on Facebook, and since “everybody” is on Facebook, they assumed everyone knew. So, in order to stay in-the-loop, I decided to grab my cup of the cult Kool-aid and signed up.

Don’t worry, I’m not going to give a big lecture, trying to recruit that one last person to sign up. I am just letting everyone know that I have now included Facebook icon links to the site. At the bottom of each post, there are links to other sites such as digg.com and del.icio.us. Now that I have joined the blue devil, I have included a link to share my posts on Facebook.

If there is a particular post / recipe that you like, just click on the Facebook icon to share it with your friends. You never know… maybe you will share the recipe, and next time you are at a friend’s house, they will make that dish for you!

Thanks for your support everyone!
