Apparently, I am the biggest chocolate lover at my church… We had the monthly potluck dinner this past weekend, and after dinner was a basket silent auction to raise money to send the children of the church to summer camp. Well, long story short… There was a “Chocolate Lovers” basket, and I bid the most! I was really excited both to help out the church, but also because there are some fun things in the gift basket.

Among other things were a Hershey’s cookbook, hot cocoa mix, chocolate chip cookie mix, snickerdoodle shampoo/body wash, and a couple of Christmas ornaments featuring sugary sweets. There were some other fun things, but I’m not going to go into all the details. How about some gratuitous cute kitty pictures instead?

It would appear Boots and Tika are enjoying the gift basket more than I am. I didn’t even think cats liked chocolate???

I am looking forward to giving some of those recipes in the new Hershey’s cookbook a test run.
