Easter Strawbunnies

6 April 2010 3 Comments

It’s not like any of us really need ANOTHER dessert for Easter. My basket is usually far too full of chocolate bunnies, peanut butter eggs, creme-filled eggs, and other sugary treats. But hey, mine is mostly fruit, so it counts as healthy, right?

We saw a recipe card with instructions on making these while shopping at Meijer last week, and decided it would be a fun addition to our Easter lunch celebration. They are so simple, no recipe is really needed, and would be great for making with kiddos. Just dip strawberries in some melted white chocolate, use colored icing for the eyes and nose, and sliced almonds for the ears.

Personally, I kind of think they look a little more like mice than bunnies, but a little imagination can go a long way. Regardless, they are chocolate-covered strawberries, and who can resist those???

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!
