Wow, Catalina Deals are AWESOME!

So, I have a confession to make. Umm, I sort of bought 1216 of these boxes of Wheaties Fuel cereal. I am totally a sucker for a good deal, and I just couldn’t pass it up! (more on that in a minute)

Bulk Breakfast Burritos

I love breakfast burritos. Really, I love pretty much anything wrapped up in a tortilla. What I don’t love though is washing a skillet and spatula every morning that I want to eat one of these for a breakfast-on-the-go. So, what is the easiest way to eliminate that daily grind of dish washing? Make them in bulk and freeze!

Spring has Sprung – Garden Edition

It looks like the last frost has come and gone, which meant last weekend was tillin’ time. We got out and tilled up the garden for round two of our veggie growing experiments. I started my first garden last year with the expectation of just using it as a learning experience. Sure, we got quite a few treats out of it, but the most important part was that we learned a lot of lessons.

[Reader Poll] Canned Soups $.75

So, I’m still undecided about my thoughts toward canned soups. On one hand, they are quick, convenient, somewhat healthy, and can be bought very cheap (when you catch the right sale – I’ll explain in a minute).
