My heart truly goes out to those affected by the earthquake in Haiti. These tragedies are so difficult to imagine in and of themselves, but when they happen in countries that are already in such a state of poverty and hunger, the result is so much more catastrophic. So far, world organizations have raised millions of dollars, but to fight chronic malnutrition and famine-like conditions while the towns are in their current state, they are going to NEED A LOT MORE MONEY!

As we look back over this past year, it is fun to remember the highlights and cherish the thoughts of those special times we experienced and shared with friends and family. Personally, I had quite a few big things happen this year. Among other things, here are a few that really stood out:
